This method of folding a zine takes a little longer, but the direction of the folds fall into place at the end!

Materials

📄 PLIX zine printed on 8.5” x 11” paper ✂️ Scissors

Watch the folds—Following the folding directions in this guide will make zine assembling even easier.

Instructions ↓

1. Fold in half, longways, with the printed side on the outside.

2. Unfold.

3. Fold in half the other way, with the printed side on the outside.

4. Unfold.

5. Flip over.

6. Fold the two sides to the center, like doors.

7. Refold the center line.

8. Cut along the dotted line.

9. After cutting, unfold.

10. Refold the long center line.

11. Pick up the paper by the ends.

12. Squish it together to get a “+” shape.

13. Flatten it.

14. Arrange the pages so the cover is in the front.

15. And done!
